This past May, I had the opportunity to finally attend my first Mom 2.0 Summit and it was an amazing event!  I was so excited because it was to be in San Diego, California – which is a long drive for me, but still more affordable than purchasing a plane ticket.  Plus, I had the opportunity to drive a 2013 KIA Soul to the event.  I am in love with KIA cars and this will be my second KIA to test drive (can’t wait to see what other KIAs are in store for me to review)! If you’re looking for the best used car for sale in Spring Lake MI, check out Lakeside Automotive’s inventory.

The KIA Soul not only got good gas mileage (I know this from driving down to San Diego for Mom 2.0 Summit), but is also a lot of fun to drive!  Not once did I have a concern about fitting into a parking spot, driving into a parking garage, or having mechanical problems of any kind.  Plus, it had a sun roof, which is always awesome!

The boys thought it was a fun car to ride in.  They didn’t know I was going to be reviewing it and were really excited to jump into this light green car.  I can honestly say that they think that “mommy has the best job ever!”  Ha ha!  The 3 kids, with 2 booster seats, easily fit in the back seat.

One of my favorite features of the KIA cars that I’ve test driven have been the SIRIUS Radio Stations.  I love them!  In fact, I can tell you that I heard the “Thrift Shop” song a number of times, as well as various songs by Fun, on  the Pop Hits Radio Station.  It was easy to search through and set the stations that are your favorites.  Plus, you can set up the Navigation feature with SIRIUS Traffic.  The SIRIUS Satellite Radio comes with a free 3-month subscription when you purchase a KIA Soul.

  1. How fun! Such a blessing to be given a car to review to make your road trip even better! Looks like the Kia Soul was fun to drive and to ride in!

I’m pretty sure I don’t have high enough numbers (yet) but can I ask how you began getting cars to review? Did you approach the manufacturer or a local car dealer? Or did they come to you? I will be road tripping to 3 conferences later this year and would LOVE to do a car review for at least 2 of them. Any tips would be much appreicated!
