As parents, Frank and I have had lots of “Life in the Backseat” experiences with our kids – both with our children when they were little and now as they are growing up! It’s in the backseat that our kids create songs and stories, discover the things around them, and learn more about each other.  I had a chance to watch several different videos from Subaru Forester for the “Life in the Backseat” program and there were a few I could totally identify with.  My favorite was the “Disco Rave” video.

Our six kids would do this in a heartbeat!  They would be dancing in their seats and moving around as much as they could.  They have a blast together when we’re in the car and this just reminded me of all of them together.

The other video I could really identify with was the Car Wash Baby video.  I remember going through the automatic car wash with each of my boys when they were babies and they were just as freaked out by the noises as the baby in the video was.

Now about the all-new 2014 Subaru Forester?. A whole lot to love.  The all-new Subaru Forester? is built from the backseat forward, to hold your most precious cargo. So, we’ve put together some great moments in the backseat. Enjoy.

General guidelines about the vehicle:

Subaru Forester? has always embodied the right-sized power, control and versatility that owners love. Now, it also represents a green-minded, fuel-efficient small SUV, as every 2014 Subaru Forester 2.5i model is a Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle* and built in a zero-landfill plant. Combine that with more cargo room, available power rear gate and 32 MPG highway,** and you’ve got a vehicle that can take every day to task. Of course, the redesigned Forester comes with road-gripping Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and the balance and power of the legendary SUBARU BOXER® engine.

* PZEV emissions warranty applies only in certain states. See your dealer for complete information on emission and New Car Limited Warranties.

** EPA-estimated fuel economy. Actual mileage may vary.

Totally looks like my kids in the disco rave video, lol. Right now we have a Scion and it is cramped with my 2 girls in car seats, but we are looking for a bigger vehicle (and hopefully growing our crew by more as well, lol). We go on a lot of long car rides and my girls have so much fun in the back seat!
