I could prepare for an emergency by setting aside a supply of water and shelf stable food!

Have a shelter with food that will last and a very large supply of water, a generator with plenty of gasoline, and as many things you could have to pass the time in case you have to be down there for a while, like video games and such.
I could prepare for an emergency by having a battery or solar powered radio and flashlight. Also canned goods, opener, water and a change of clothes for each person including a rain poncho and if it is cold boots and blankets or sleeping bags. Being in a tornado area we have many of these types of supplies ready for an emergency.
BTW just bought his book (he tweeted a link at amazon) can’t wait to read it ! (bought under a different email addy ) I had been tweeting about it all this time and reading about it and couldnt resist!
