This holiday season is unlike any other one I’ve had before. Usually, I shop for my three boys, my sisters, and my parents, but this year, I got to do the holiday shopping with my boyfriend and we added some extras to the list! With that being said, we had a lot of people to buy gifts for on a limited budget, so we needed to find a way to stretch our dollars. MasterCard MarketPlace was a huge help!

When I headed to the site, it had me confirm my zip code. I typed it in and it brought up all of the deals that were available for Nipomo, California. There were actually way more than I thought there would be. I had a lot of fun searching the site and seeing what deals would make the best gifts for the family members we needed to buy for.

One of the awesome things about MasterCard MarketPlace is that the deals change daily, so you have a wider variety of gift ideas available to you. When I was searching for the deals in Nipomo, it included Food and Drink, Sports and Recreation, Travel, Gifts, and more. It was a really tough choice narrowing it down to our purchase, but I found what I wanted to get the kids.

I found the I LikeBook – a special of $12 for a $25 book. What is it? The I Like Book is a tool that parents can use to connect with their kids through daily, positive reinforcement. It helps them to see the positive aspects of their “self” while in the critical stages of identity formation, and also encourages parents and their children to use “I” language in their interpersonal communication with one another.
