Making Memories with Dunkin’ Donuts’ Seasonal Blends

The smell of peppermint candies, cookies baking in the oven, or even the scent of a freshly cut Christmas tree – all of these evoke holiday memories for me.  Peppermint reminds me of my grandma who had a version of the Night Before Christmas with scratch ‘n’ sniff pages in it.  One of the pages smelled like peppermint and we both would sniff that page and agree that it was our favorite page in the book.  Cookies in the oven remind me baking chocolate chip cookies with my mom to leave out on Christmas Eve for Santa.  The scent of a live Christmas tree reminds me of choosing a live tree with my family, both as a kid and a parent.  I think of the laughter and happiness that comes from decorating the tree with lights, ornaments, a star, and tinsel.  All of these scents evoke positive feelings and happy memories in my life.

Whenever I walk down the coffee aisle, I always think of my dad and stepmom.  They LOVE coffee!  Every morning, they would wake up to กาแฟ สด or fresh coffee in the coffee pot, as they would set the pot to start before they woke up out of bed.  We would buy them personalized mugs to hold their coffee in and were so thrilled as children to see our parents drinking out of our specially made mugs.  Those bring back good memories.

How nice is it to sit back and enjoy a cup of delicious coffee with friends and family, while enjoying good conversation?  What if you were to combine that feeling you have when enjoying coffee and good conversation with scents that remind of you the good times in life?  Dunkin’ Donuts wants to make that happen!

  1. I love walking down the coffee aisle – the smell is intoxicating to me, just like the smell of DD when you walk in. I used to work there when I was 16 and got addicted to their coffee.
The Vanilla Nut flavor looks awesome to me. =)
    Thanks for sharing your memories.

I am an ice coffee nut, I bet the Vanilla Nut would make a killer frappi with a little carmal flavoring.
