Have you ever held a donation drive – whether it be food, clothing, or hygiene care?  I did and it was AMAZING!!!  I combined a Halloween Party and a “hygiene care” drive for children and their families in our community.  I was excited to participate in the Champions for Kids Dial Into Giving Simple Service Project and everyone felt good about the help we were giving to members of our community.  The donations I collected are going to the women and children at our local Women’s Shelter.

I headed to our local Walmart to pick up Dial products for the Champions for Kids Dial Into Giving Simple Service Project, as well as party supplies and candy for the Halloween Party.

I found Dial hand soaps for as little as $0.98.  There were antibacterial hand soaps, seasonal hand soaps, naturals hand soaps,  and hand soaps with lotion.

There were small packages of bar soap and big packages of bar soap, plus they were available in different scents.

This is my cart full of Dial products purchased to start the “hygiene care” drive.

I headed to my local Walmart and purchased the initial products for the hygiene care drive, including Dial Hand Soaps, Dial Body Washes and Loofahs.  I also picked up some candy and decorations for the Halloween Party that we would have to promote the drive.  I was actually surprised by how cost-effective Dial products were at Walmart.  The Dial base liquid hand soap will be on rollback for $0.98 until the end of October at Walmart stores nationwide.  Plus, Halloween foaming liquid hand soap are available in 5 different designs with graphics that glow in the dark!

We had a Halloween get-together, with food, candy and hygiene care donations to give to the Women’s Shelter.  I had friends coming from my boys’ school, from my Bunco group, from my old MOMS Club and from MOPS.  I was amazed at how eager everyone was to donate to a good cause and to help others in their community.

Our collection of hygiene care items for the Women’s Shelter.

We collected a variety of bar soaps, liquid hand soaps, lotions, shampoos, conditioners, body washes, loofahs, and toothpastes.  There were some who were unable to attend the party who also donated to our collection.  I was amazed at how willing and eager my friends were to donate hygiene care items.  I am so glad I had the opportunity to participate in this Champions for Kids Dial Into Giving SIMPLE Service Project!
