My boys really needed long-sleeved shirts for the new school year.  So, I was really excited to participated in the Fall Wardrobe opportunity with Collective Bias and CookiesKids.com.  I was amazed at how easy it was to browse the site.  I love that you can search for clothing options by gender (i.e. boy or girl) and then from there, you can narrow your search down to the size, and then the item you’re looking for (i.e. pants, tops, socks, etc.).  The website was extremely user-friendly, not to mention budget-friendly!

Before I added anything to my cart, I signed up for an account.  This process was easy and went quickly.  I entered my name, address, phone number, and password.  Then I entered my payment information.  When I was done and ready to check out, I had everything already entered and my order was submitted quickly.

When you click an item you like, a screen like the one above will appear.  For each item it includes the Item Name, Details tab, Reviews tab, Item Number, and Price.  You’ll be able to choose the quantity, color and size for each item.  Plus, there are recommended items on the right side of the page.  You select the quantity, color and size and add to your cart.  Then when you want to see what’s in your cart, you click on the cart and you can see your items, prices, quantities, and more!

Above is a collage of the items we liked, including some of the items we actually purchased.  I had a lot of fun shopping on the site and am really impressed with the entire process of ordering through CookiesKids.com.  I would totally recommend CookiesKids.com to all of my family and friends!

Once I completed my order, I received a confirmation email from CookiesKids.com.  I also received an email when the items were processed and then when they were shipped.  I really liked that CookiesKids.com kept me updated on the status of my order throughout the entire process.

We were excited when our order arrived on our doorstep.  The superhero shirts were here!  I love how easy it was to order, as well as how budget-friendly my purchase was.

It was really hard choosing shirts because there were so many cute ones!  My boys love superheroes, so I decided to go with shirts that had the Avengers, Spiderman and Captain America on them.  Be sure to check out my story on Google+ showing my whole experience.

ABOUT COOKIESKIDS

In 1972, a young man named Cookie and his brother Marvin went into business together. They rented a 1600 square foot store in Jamaica, Queens, fixed it up, bought inventory and Summer andFall, and opened a day after Thanksgiving with a full stock of holiday toys. The toys were a success and they put the extra money toward buying children’s clothing for the next season. When that did well, they bought more clothing. The business was on it’s way.

As the brothers Cookie, Marvin and Sonny, who had come in as a third partner in the business, began to open new stores in new locations, inventory expanded. Besides the latest fashions, our customers wanted shoes, toys, backpacks and accessories and we were prepared to deliver.

By the late 1990’s there were six superstores throughout the NYC area, and though they previously had different names, by that time they were all named Cookie’s Kids. Also in the late ’90s came an important addition to Cookie’s Kids’ inventory: school uniforms. It was the steady success in uniform sales that paved the way for founding CookiesKids.com in 2007, which originally sold uniforms and soon after the entire Cookie’s Kids Inventory.
