Smart & Final “Grill It Up” Get-Together! #SummerGrilling
Summertime is here and with it comes barbecuing weather! My boyfriend is amazing at the barbecue and we jumped at the opportunity to grill up some of Cattleman’s Finest Beef from Smart & Final. I visited the Smart & Final in San Luis Obispo and had such a hard time choosing the meat – I wanted it all! I finally decided on a Rib Eye Steak, two Top Sirloin Steaks, and two packages of the Boneless Beef Ribs.
We sprinkled Montreal Steak Seasoning on the steaks and then lathered the ribs with Mo’s BBQ Sauce. Mo’s BBQ is a popular restaurant here on the Central Coast and they have amazing sauces! In addition to grilling up the meats, we grilled up some Corn on the Cob!
The Corn on the Cob that Frank makes is really yummy and the kids and guests love it! Here is the recipe:
FRANK’S BARBECUED CORN ON THE COB
– Corn on the cob (with husks in place)
– Butter
– Season All
First, you peel back the husks (don’t remove them all the way because they help cook it on the barbecue). Remove the corn silk as much as possible.
In the microwave, melt about half a cube of butter (maybe more if you like yours extra buttery). Once the butter is melted, add Season All Spice to it to your taste preference.
You can either dip the corn on the cob in a cup of the butter mixture or lather it all over the corn on the cob. Once the corn is coated, pull the husks up around the top of the corn and place on the barbecue. Cook until the corn is golden brown. Serve warm and enjoy!
***If the husks are removed, don’t worry. Simply wrap the corn on the cob with aluminum foil and barbecue as described above.***
The barbecue was a blast and the food was so yummy! I will definitely be purchasing Cattleman’s Finest Beef from Smart & Final again in the future! What are you going to grill today?

I’ve never grilled corn before but I see a lot of people doing it! I probably should hop on the bandwagon! Thanks for sharing, your grilling feast looks awesome!
I like my hubby’s bbq chicken and my FIL salmon.
The best thing about summer is grilling out. We grill BBQ chicken about once a week. I may need to try that Corn on the Cob next time.
I love grilled corn on the cob. Haven’t grilled it in years.
I like Smart & Final also! We’ve grilled corn a few times. I like it, but my husband doesn’t care for it. Maybe I’ll give it another try.
