Cake, ice cream, pie, pudding, JELL-O, milkshakes, and parfaits. What do all of these have in common? They are all desserts made special with COOL WHIP Whipped Topping. It could be as simple as topping your Strawberry Shortcake or Thanksgiving Day Pumpkin Pie with a dollop of COOL WHIP Whipped Topping. I remember adding COOL WHIP to a cup of Strawberry JELL-O or even to the top of a bowl of fresh strawberries. I use COOL WHIP in a yummy pie recipe as well. I take a chocolate cookie crust and add a mixture of COOL WHIP and cream cheese, a layer of cooked pudding, and a final layer of COOL WHIP. The possibilities with COOL WHIP are endless!

Dessert is something we look forward to each evening in our family. Dessert not only gives my boys the incentive to eat all of their meal, but it also creates lasting memories for us as a family. They look forward to finding out what I’m planning for dessert…..and honestly, so do I! We talk about how yummy our desserts are and together, we enjoy something together – dessert.

I recently had the opportunity to come up with a way to make a dessert more special in our family and everyone loved it! I used COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, one of my all-time favorite dessert ingredients! After all, COOL WHIP isn’t about elaborate desserts, but about making the everyday dessert more special. I decided to make a special family favorite dessert for our family by adding COOL WHIP. Here’s how I did it.

KIDS COOL WHIP PARFAIT

– COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
– JELL-O Chocolate Pudding
– OREO chocolate cookies
– Gummy or Sour Gummy Worms
– Clear Glasses
– Spoons

In a clear glass, add a dollop of COOL WHIP Whipped Topping to the bottom of the glass. Add one or two individual cups of JELL-O Chocolate Pudding. In a bag, crush OREO Chocolate Cookies, or crumble by hand over the top of the layer of pudding. Add three to four gummy or sour gummy worms to your creation. Serve and enjoy!

I’m a big fan of Cool-Whip! Although I try to save it for special occasions or I’ll go overboard. Enjoy it with strawberries and, of course, pie.

  2. Elena says:

My son loves gummy worms. I am going to serve them with Cool Whip next time. Great idea!

  3. Lisa Brown says:

I love the addition of the gummy worms. This would be fun to make and eat around Halloween because of the worms.
