I remember being a little girl, finishing with my bath, and my mom using the Q-tips to get the wax out of my ears.  I remember getting ready for Winter Formal in high school and dipping a Q-tips in nail polish remover to fix a tiny smudge on my finger.  I remember when I had my first baby boy and I used the Q-tips to apply rubbing alcohol to his umbilical cord in his belly button.  Q-tips have been with me throughout my life.  Until recently, I had no idea just how many uses for Q-tips they’re really are until participating in this campaign!  Check out the many uses of Q-tips below:

ART & CRAFTS

Paintbrushes for Small Hands – Q-tips cotton swabs are the perfect-sized paintbrushes for children’s small hands.  For the brightest pictures and the easiest clean-up, use a different one for every color.

    I was going to say the keyboard use too! I also use for cleaning the tiny crevices in the window corners and the cranking mechanism. I am for SURE not using them NEAR enough for all those beauty uses..maybe THATs why I look like I do? haha. thanks for posting! Life would seem really WEIRD without Qtips!

    What great ideas! We use q-tips for art projects all the time. You can just dab the paint onto the q-tip. There are so many ideas on pinterest too!

  6. Wow– I knew there were lots of uses for Qtips, but that is quite a list! I’m glad you mentioned the one about polishing silver. We just opened a box today that is SO tarnished, and I literally thought, “How am I going to get in those little corners?” for some of the items. Perfect!

    I use them for cleaning small areas all the time, especially around my faucets! My girls use them a lot too to put makeup on for dress up/ pretend play. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to the store with one of my girls with cat makeup on (whiskers and all), lol! 🙂
