I was so excited when I received the email inviting me to the Disney Pixar Event in San Francisco this week!  The day finally came when I would head on a plane from San Luis Obispo to San Francisco to meet up with an amazing group of bloggers and preview Brave, La Luna, and Chimpanzee.

I met up with Kasandria from Southern Bella’s Ways to Save and we jumped in a taxi and headed over to the Palomar Hotel in San Francisco.  San Francisco is a beautiful town and the hotel was gorgeous!  We even had a friendly doorman there to greet us when we arrived!

I was super excited to meet up with some blogging friends I hadn’t seen in a long time, as well as make some new friends along the way!  We all gathered in the lobby of the Palomar Hotel and headed to Disney Pixar Animation Studios.  I had no idea how awesome our adventures at Disney Pixar Animation Studios would be!

At the entrance were statues of Buzz and Woody from “Toy Story.”  The awesome thing was that they were made of Legos!  How cool is that???

The inside of the building was dressed in decor for the upcoming animated movie, Brave – coming to theaters June 22nd, 2012.  It was awesome!  There were Scottish-inspired flags and a large wall hanging, just like the one featured in Brave.

It was now time to preview the Disney short, La Luna, and the first 1/3 of the upcoming movie, Brave.  I was super excited to see a lively and strong girl with curly red hair play the main character of the movie!  Go redheads!  I loved La Luna, especially the sound of the clinking stars.  When you watch it in theaters, take a look at the little boys eyes and you’ll see the shape of a crescent moon in each eye.  It’s pretty cool!  Then came Brave!  I absolutely loved the music and the setting in which the movie was based – Scotland.  Did I mention that the main character was a young woman with curly red hair?  How cool is that?  I can’t wait to see the rest of the movie when it comes out on June 22nd in theaters!

Disney/Pixar provided me with an all-expenses paid trip to screen “Brave,” “Chimpanzee,” and “La Luna,” as well as visit the Walt Disney Family Museum.  All opinions expressed in this post are 100% mine.
