Reward Your Heart with Welch’s
February was American Heart Month, but you can still reward your heart with Welch’s. As you’re reflecting on American Heart Month and thinking about your family’s heart health, remember that building a heart-healthy diet starts at the grocery store. How heart smart is your family’s shopping cart? According to a recent Porter Novelli Styles survey of more than 4,000 Americans, conducted on behalf of Welch’s:
– There is a gap between knowing the heart-health benefits of common foods and actually putting them into the shopping cart.
– 2/3 of Americans recognize that red wine, salmon, oatmeal or olive oil are heart-healthy foods. However, a fraction of these sames consumers buy these foods on a monthly basis.
Many consumers think heart-healthy foods won’t taste good or they are simply too time consuming or costly to cook. However, the good news is that it’s easy to “heart your cart” with foods that are simple to prepare, convenient, affordable and delicious!
For example, as a complement to fresh produce, 100% grape juice made with Concord grapes makes it easy to add a boost of delicious purple fruit to your family’s diet. Each 4-ounce glass counts as 1 serving (1/2 cup) of fruit – with no added sugar. And, more than a decade’s worth of research suggests that thanks to the Concord grape, Welch’s 100% Grape Juice can help support a healthy heart.

I love Welch’s grape juice, it’s delicious!
I love freezing Welch’s during the summer for slushies! So yummy!
That’s great information. I drink grape juice a lot and didn’t realize the favor I was doing for my heart!
Welch’s grape juice is the best and now i know it’s good for me as well.
I try and buy Welch’s as much as my budget will allow. We don’t drink wine but know the benefits of grapes- plus it is really yummy! As women we tend to focus on the men but heart disease is the #1 killer of women. Lets take care of our heart ladies!
Nice graph. Welch’s grape has always been one of my preferred flavors. It’s not a bad idea to throw out the cola in place of one of these.
