I was excited to attend a private screening of The Rebound on the big screen at the Silent Movie Theater in Los Angeles about a week ago.  It was a lot of fun and a totally different atmosphere then your normal movie experience.  I enjoyed it a lot.  There were prizes, singing, food, and drinks at the screening.  Plus, one lucky person won an awesome gift basket with tickets to see Cirque De Soleil, a stay at a beautiful resort, and more.  Happy Valentine’s Day to them!

After the Screening, we had snacks and drinks on the back patio.  There were even bartenders making the special drinks just for The Rebound!  The drinks were made with Vodka, Red Bull, and Ice.  Every sipped on their drinks, munched on snacks, and mingled on the patio until the winner of the gift basket was announced.  It was definitely a fun night out!

ABOUT THE REBOUND

It’s never too late to find love!  Academy Award-Winner Catherine Zeta-Jones and Justi Bartha star in the charming romantic comedy that was released on Blu-ray and DVD on February 7th, 2012.

Spend Valentine’s Day cuddled up with a captivating comedy, and learn that age is just a number with Academy Award-winner Catherine Zeta-Jones (No Reservations, Chicago) and Justin Bartha (The Hangover, National Treasure: Book of Secrets) in The Rebound, from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertaiment.

Upon discovering her husband’s infidelity, Sandy (Zeta-Jones) and her two kids move from the suburbs to pursue a new life in the big city.  There she meets Aram (Bartha), a local coffee shop employee whose wife only married him as a means to getting her green card.  The two strike up a friendship which eventually evolves into something more.  But it isn’t long before they’re faced with the big question – “Is this real or just a rebound?”

Arriving just in time for Valentine’s Day and featuring electrifying chemistry between Zeta-Jones and Bartha, The Rebound also features fantastic supporting performances from Lynn Whitfield (The Women, Madea’s Family Reunion), John Schneider (“The Dukes of Hazzard,” Lake Placid 2) and music legend Art Garfunkel.

MY THOUGHTS

I thought The Rebound was a cute romantic comedy.  I’ve always like Catherine Zeta-Jones as an actress and thought that Justin Bartha did a great job in his role as well!  Some of the feelings Sandy (Zeta-Jones) went through in the movie were feelings I could relate to (as far going through a divorce and becoming a single mom goes).  It’s great to know that love does still exist, even if you came out of a long-term relationship that didn’t work out.  A big thanks to Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and the PR team for The Rebound for inviting me to participate in this movie screening!

I received no compensation for the post, but was invited to the free screening from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.  All opinions expressed in this post are 100% mine.

I think Justin Bartha is a good actor.. I saw this with Ellie and it wasn’t too shabby. I thought it was a fine light comedy.
