Every year I host a Holiday Cookie Exchange and this year was the 3rd Holiday Cookie Exchange.  We had a blast!  I love Cookie Exchanges because not only do you get to show off and share your cookies, you get to leave with a variety of cookies and recipes.  For the recipes, I have learned that it is easier when each participant either emails the recipe or brings copies of the recipe to share with friends.

Wilton was so awesome to provide boxes for the cookies, prizes, and more for my 3rd Annual Holiday Cookie Exchange.  I prepared Cocoa Cones and Peppermint Bark Treats for each guest to take home and they loved them!

We started the Cookie Exchange with socializing and snacking on Deviled Eggs, olives, and chips and dip.  Then we moved into the living room, where we played 2 Christmas Trivia games – one about Christmas and the other about Christmas songs.  It was so much fun!  The winners with the most correct answers had first dibs at the Wilton prizes, but everyone went home with something.  After the trivia games and the prizes, it was time for the official Cookie Exchanging to happen!  There were so many yummy cookies – Pumpkin Cookies with Cream Cheese Frosting, Rolo Cookies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Russian Tea Balls, Cheesecake Squares, and more!  It was so much fun and the cookies were super yummy!

Plus, the Smucker’s Team sent some pretty awesome goodies for us to bake up and take home with us!  Everyone was stoked about the boxes of Pillsbury Cookie Mix and cans of yummy Easy Frost.  The Chocolate Peppermint Cookies were a hit as well!

I received product samples and prizes from Wilton and the J.M. Smucker Team for my Holiday Cookie Exchange.  All opinions expressed in this post are 100% mine.

I have always wanted to participate in a cookie exchange but none of my friends are much into baking. They just wait for me to bake a lot every year and then dig in. This year I wasn’t in the mood so everyone was disappointed. I have to say that seeing all the pics of the yummy looking cookies has my mouth watering. Especially those round ones that looks like they are topped with strawberry or maybe raspberry jam. They are calling my name!!!
