I have loved my title as a Wilton Mom and the memories I have made with my family and friends through Wilton products.  I love it when the holidays are here – Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, and Halloween because it gives me the chance to decorate holiday inspired treats.  This year, one of the Wilton products we had a blast with was the Gingerbread Boy Cookie Decorating Kit.

Decorate eight fun cookies! Great for gifts or special treats. Includes cookies, icing mix, fondant, colorful candies, decorating bag, tip and complete instructions.  You can purchase the Wilton Gingerbread Boy Cookie Decorating Kit for $12.99 in stores and online.

The cookies are pre-baked and all you need is milk, butter, and a mixer to whip together the icing.  Also included in the kit is green fondant and red fondant, so a sharp knife is needed to cut smooth edged pieces to decorate your gingerbread people with.  For the icing, you may need to add a little more liquid.  Start with the amount required and mix.  If it is too thick, add small amounts of liquid until you reach the desired consistency.

Make some new memories with your family and add new traditions for the upcoming years with Wilton’s Gingerbread Boy Cookie Decorating Kit!  A big thanks to Wilton for the opportunity to serve as a Wilton Mom and for amazing decorating opportunities that create memories and bring out my creativity!

I received a product sample from Wilton to facilitate this review.  All opinions expressed in this post are 100% mine.

  2. I honestly love Wilton kits. They make it easy to have nice looking treats. Aside from their kits, I really, really love their concentrated gel dyes…. I made cookies with super duper green icing and it looked awesome for Christmas.

  3. You know, I’ve decorated ginger bread houses and a train (my boyfriend went out and got me a gingerbread train to decorate this year), but I don’t think I’ve ever done cookies! Go figure 🙂

It looks like you guys had a lot of fun!

Wow these look awesome. We have used the ginger bread house kits by Wilton, but I’ve never seen the Gingerbread Boy Kit. I have 4 kids and they would love this! It looks like it was pretty fun and simple to do. I think I might have to check it out and see if I can pick one up for our family fun night! Thanks for sharing and the review!

I love Wilton! I have never tried one of these kits but they look so fun and easy, especially when you have kids and don’t have the time to bake and make icing!!!

Def. looks like something the kids would love decorate and then eat….and seems pretty simple.

I love this idea! Is the fondant any good? I make marshmallow fondant and even that isn’t worth eating 🙁
