Play Uno Roboto House Rules This Holiday Season!

This Thanksgiving, my family and I had a blast playing the new Uno Roboto House Rules Game!  He is so cute!  It’s simple to set up and fun to play.  If you enjoy playing UNO, you’ll like the new Uno Roboto game.  The boys got a kick out of recording their names and hearing it repeated with Uno Roboto’s silly voice.  Plus, at different times during the game, he says their name and gives them a surprise command – such as touching the card to their nose and whoever is last draws a card or switching cards with another player.  Even us adults had fun playing it and we laughed throughout the game.

As parents, we try to find ways to enjoy family time beyond just watching TV and chatting during car rides to and from soccer practice.  Family-focused games offer a simple way to bring everyone together regardless of age. In our home, UNO is game we’ve had and enjoy playing together.  My parents played UNO with me when I was a kid and now I play UNO with my boys.  I hope someday they will play UNO with their kids.

This iconic card game has been connecting generations of game lovers and families for 40 years and to mark the brand’s anniversary this year, Mattel introduces a totally new way to play UNO.  UNO Roboto brings a fun and interactive spin to the game by allowing players  to completely customize their gameplay experience.  Players record their names and a “house rule,” then UNO Roboto acts as emcee throughout the game by randomly selecting the sequence of players’ turns and house rule challenges, adding new elements of speed and change of direction to the game.  The “house rule” is my favorite part, as it lets you pick really funny and goofy things to do at unexpected times of the game such as “run around the coffee table four times” or “do a cartwheel” (no coordination required, of course!).

MY THOUGHTS

I am so glad I had the opportunity to play this game in our home with my family and with friends. It is so much fun! I love playing UNO, but the surprise and random commands add more spice and variety to the game. If you enjoy playing games and you want to laugh with family and friends, I highly recommend UNO Roboto! Add UNO Roboto under your tree this holiday season.
