Whirlpool Changed My Life

As a mom of 3 boys, I am CONSTANTLY doing laundry.  The fact is that there is no end in sight when it comes to washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry.  It’s even worse when you have a dryer that takes two cycles to dry instead of one – ugh!  I can’t tell you how ecstatic I was to find out I had been selected as one of fifty moms to be given the opportunity to add the Whirlpool Duet Front Loading Washer and Dryer.  I literally screamed with happiness when I read the “Congratulations” email.

I already new what color I wanted.  My choices were Stainless Steel or White.  With little kids in the house, I decided to go with white.  They are GORGEOUS!!!!  In fact, when my friends come over, they ask to see my washer and dryer and then tell our other friends about them.  One friend said, “It’s like Disneyland in your laundry room!”  I laughed but it is kind of true!

Even my boys were really excited when the washer and dryer arrived.  My oldest son, Brian, ran into the house and told his brothers that the awesome washer and dryer were here.  He also made plans that same night to “watch” the clothes wash and dry.  I joined him for a little while, complete with quiet washing noises and the blue light.  Plus, the washer and dryer sang to us when the cycle was over!

When my Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer were first hooked up, I was amazed by the buttons and lights on the face of the machines.  I couldn’t believe how user-friendly they were and how many different options they offered.  You can select cycles designed for Jeans, Heavy Duty items, Towels, and more!  The pair’s built-in-suite of Laundry Apps includes favorites like Stain Assist and Hints & Tips that give practical advice on stains and other everyday laundry questions.  The “Before You Call” section that provides topical answers to all your technical questions about the washer.  14 specialty fabric care cycles and 3 language options complete the number of customized helpers this washer provides.  It’s like a mom’s (or other individual’s) best friend when it comes to laundry!!

HE washers require HE detergent and not nearly as much as most regular washers.  I always thought that the more soap used, the cleaner your clothes would be.  I was wrong!  The Precision Dispense Ultra is awesome because it delivers better results by adding the right amount of detergent every time.  Plus, it will alert you on the screen when the detergent is starting to run low.  How easy can it get?  It’s awesome just loading the washer and waiting to add detergent when it tells me to.

The Whirlpool Duet Appliances have NSF Certification, meaning that they include “Sanitize” temperature settings to ensure laundry will be 99.9% bacteria free!  That is so important to me because I want my little guys to be kept as healthy as possible!
