Walk for MS in San Luis Obispo on Saturday!

If you live near San Luis Obispo, located on the Central Coast of beautiful California, and you’d like to walk for a good cause, you’ll want to check out the MS Walk this weekend!  I learned about the MS Walk from another mom in my local MOMS Club (Moms Offering Moms Support).  Here’s what Caroline says, “I’ve been walking for the past 3 years and have a blast every year!  It’s not a long walk, and is stroller friendly.  We start and finish at the Mission Plaza where upon finishing, everyone gets medallions and have food, entertainment, and giveaways.”

It is FREE to walk!  You can either register online or register at the race.  If you aren’t able to participate in the walk, but would like to donate to the cause, please visit our MOMS Club Team Page HERE.

Join the movement at Walk MS to bring us one step closer to a world free of MS! Come and celebrate the movement at Mission Plaza situated at the steps of the Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa in the heart of the city. Choose a 1 mile, 5k or 10k walk/run option through the historic downtown. Enjoy the sites as you walk the shopping districts of Marsh and Monterey streets. Refreshing rest stops along the way help rejuvenate you with snacks and drinks. When you return from the walk, enjoy music, raffle prizes, face painting, and local vendor booths. Prizes will be awarded to the “best dressed” and “most spirited” teams and the “most inspirational” walk participant. Show your team spirit and you will be sure to win! Register a team today!
