Aloha Old London
The first signs of spring are evident in the budding trees, longer days, and warmer air and many of us are beginning to plan our summer vacations, trips to the beach, and looking forward to spending time outdoors. Thinking of summer vacations, trips to the beach, and spending time outdoors brings to mind the start of bathing suit season. After a long, cold winter indoors, where we may have been indulging in heavy foods and drink, the thought of putting a bathing suit on can be overwhelming.
Old London, the makers of delicious melba toast products, wants to help us fit in those summer clothes by encouraging us to include healthy, simple foods in our everyday menus. Their famous snacks, made with all-natural ingredients and whole grains, prove a great way to satisfy mid-day hunger when paired with light treats like salsa or cheese.
To inspire healthy living, Old London has launched the “Aloha Old London” sweepstakes and will send one winner and a guest to beautiful Oahu, Hawaii for an all-expenses paid, Hawaiian vacation. The winner will be invited to soak up the sun, enjoy the spa and the surf, treat themselves to private cooking lessons, and just breathe during the four-day, three-night, all-expenses-paid trip. Enter the sweepstakes now through June 30th, 2011 at www.Facebook.com/OldLondonFoods.
MY THOUGHTS
I had not heard of Old London before I participated in this campaign and let me tell ya, I LOVE their products! My favorite Melba Snacks flavors were Sea Salt and Whole Grain. I can snack on them and not feel guilty about it. It’s awesome! You can dress up Melba Snacks with your favorite cheese, Bruschetta, egg salad, chicken salad, tuna salad, smoked salmon… the list goes on. I really liked the taste and texture of the Melba snacks and my boys liked them as well. A big thanks goes to Old London and Mom Central for this amazing campaign.
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Old London and received product samples and a gift certificate to thank me for taking the time to participate.
I have to admit, it’s been a while since I have enjoyed some Melba Toast, but the Old London Sea Salt Melba Toast sounds fantastic!
Thanks for the intro!
I can’t help but think of Betty Draper when I see Melba Toast!
