My oldest son, Brian, is in first grade.  This month, the students were given the task of building a Leprechaun Trap for St. Patrick’s Day.  Brian and his grandma (my stepmom) worked together to put up a fabulous Leprechaun trap!  Check out the video below!  I am so proud of him!

I know it’s been a while since we’ve “chatted” but I just had to pop on to tell you how absolutely adorable your son is. He did a great job and his explanation of the trap is wonderful! I’m sure he’s bound to catch something in there with all those goodies. Those tricky leprechauns though… they might just run away leaving marshmallow footprints or something across your table. I’ve heard that happens a lot. At least he’ll know he’s caught something even though the little guys are escape artists and don’t usually stay caught for long. 🙂

All the best, Shannon! I’ve been following along and I hear you’re extremely busy these days. I’m so happy for you!

  5. That is the cutest little Leprechaun trap. I think Brian did a wonderful job on both his trap and on his video. I can’t believe how big he has gotten and how well spoken he is – such a testament to you!
