On January 4th, 2011, Vivendi Entertainment released The Garfield Show: All You Need Is Love (And Pasta) on DVD.  Starring everyone’s favorite lasagna-eating cat, the DVD features six love themed misadventures.  The all-new CGI-animated cartoon from Cartoon Network is based on Jim Davis’ timeless comic strip, which was recently voted #1 by Nickelodeon Magazine readers.  The wildly popular series follows the corpulent kitty and the world he lives in, his owner, the dull but decent Jon Arbuckle, the happy-go-lucky pup Odie, the cloying “cutest kitten in the world” Nermal, Garfield’s permanent houseguest Squeak the mouse, as well as assorted colorful characters from Garfield’s neighborhood.  Through situations both fantastic and familiar, Garfield entertains with  his unique point-of-view and his sarcastic wit.  With bonus features including Garfield shorts, The Garfield Show: All You Need Is Love (And Pasta) DVD is available for the suggested retail price of $14.93.

SYNOPSIS:

There will be enough fun and laughter to last through nine lives and nine dishes of lasagna as everyone’s favorite droll kitty meanders from one hilarious situation to the next.  Whether he’s fostering orphan birds, enduring Jon’s quest for the perfect family portrait or putting up a good front for Liz’s parents, Garfield really does love his friends…maybe even more than lasagna.  Maybe.
