Where Did I Go?

It’s been a few days since I posted on The Mommy-Files and I’ve missed it.  For those of you who know me and what we’ve been going through, there is no need to worry.  Life is going great!  The boys are happy and healthy…..and growing!  I am busy as a mommy to my 3 amazing little guys, Team Mom for Brian’s Basketball Team, Den Leader for Brian’s Cub Scout Den, and now a full-time student to add to the mix!  That equals one busy mom with not a lot of time to blog.  Much of my blogging ends up getting done on my weekend (aka Thursday to Sunday).

I am really excited about becoming a full-time student again though.  I’d forgotten how tired one gets after attending lecture, not to mention speed walking across campus to get to your class on time.  Plus, there is the tiny hiccup when you can’t find parking and your class is set to start in 10 minutes.  Wow!  All I can say is that I definitely feel it in my legs when I’m speed walking to class.  What a workout!

As a single mom to my 3 boys, I wanted to be able to obtain a job that would allow me to care for my boys and live a somewhat comfortable lifestyle.  Given the experiences I’ve had in the area of law, I decided that I would love to pursue a career as a paralegal.  Not only would it be a decent paying job that would allow me to provide for my family, but it would be a job where I would be helping others.

So, if you don’t see a post from me every day, don’t fret.  I’m still around, just working on new endeavors in my life.  The Mommy-Files will always be around though.  It will just have a different meaning – going from stay-at-home mommy to student mommy to working mommy.  I can’t wait for the exciting things to come!!!
