I had a blast hosting a Toy Story 3 Action Links Party, sponsored by MomSelect and Mattel.  My friends and family and their kids had a lot of fun playing with the different action figures.  It did take us moms a while to figure out how to set up the Action Sets, but once they were set up, we all (adults included) had a blast playing with the Action Sets!

For the party, we received a Toy Story 3 Action Links In-Home Party Kit, which contained some fun items that resulted in a fabulous party!  Included were 5 Action Links Stunt Sets, 1 of each variety.  The Stunt Sets are inspired by scenes from the film and included:

– Evil Dr. Porkchop Attacks – Set comes with Buzz Lightyear Buddy Figure

– Jessie to the Rescue – Set includes Jessie Buddy Figure.

– Buzz Saves the Train – Set comes with Buzz Lightyear Buddy Figure.

– Sunnyside Breakout Deluxe Playset – Set comes with Woody and Big Baby Buddy Figures.

– Junkyard Escape – Set includes three Buddy Figures, Woody, Lotso and Alien.

Also included were Buddy Packs for the kids to take home with them!  Adding more buddy pack figures to the stunt set playtime experience allows kids to extend their imaginations even further.  All stunt sets and buddy pack figures are available at major retailers nationwide and online at www.shop.mattel.com.  Please note that the stunt sets require assembly and are intended for kids five years old and up.

The ages of the children at the party ranged from 2 to 8 years old.  The children weren’t able to put the sets together on their own, but it required the assistance of the adults.  Once put together, the kids had a lot of fun playing with the sets and were very excited to take some of the sets home with them!  I thought that the Buddy Packs were super cute and that one set was really all they needed.  They enjoyed playing with the individual characters and reenacting the scenes with the different characters from Toy Story 3.

Overall, the Toy Story 3 Action Link Stunt Sets and Buddy Packs were a hit.  The party was a lot of fun!  Thank you to MomSelect and Mattel for this opportunity!
