I’ve never been a big Star Wars fan….yes I know…that’s crazy!  However, in my defense, I grew up the oldest of 4 girls.  I now have 3 boys and they love Star Wars, so I am happy to learn more about it!  We were excited when Star Wars: The Millenium Falcon – A 3-D Owner’s Guide arrived on our doorstep.  The book is awesome and it’s really fun to look through!  You can purchase the book, written by Ryder Windham, in stores and online, retailing for $21.99.

BOOK SYNOPSIS:

Take the fastest ship in the galaxy for a spin!  The 3D Owner’s Guide provides a pilot’s view of the Millenium Falcon, from her armaments and defense to her life support and propulsion.  Each page details the technology of a different system with a meticulous illustrated cutout.  When the guide is closed, the cutouts fit together to create a ED model of the famed YT-1300 light freighter.  Plus Hans Solo weighs in on every page.

MY THOUGHTS

This book is a lot of fun and gives you a good look at the Millenium Falcon.  I know that I learned more about it and Star Wars after reading through it.  If  you are a Star Wars fan, you’ll definitely wanna check this book out!!!  Thanks to Scholastic Books for this opportunity.

I received a copy of “Star Wars: Millenium Falcon – a 3D Guide” from Scholastic to facilitate this review.  All opinions expressed in this post are 100% mine.

I’ve always LOVED anything “Star Wars”. I even saw the 3rd film “Return of the Jedi” 5 times when it first came out in 1983.

my nephews are huge star wars fans from figures to lego sets, they’d love this book

I have 3 boys and they wanted this soooo badly for Christmas! It would make a great birthday gift……Thanks for the opportunity:-) Happy New Year!

  4. This is something that I will HAVE to get for my son Alexander for his 20th birthday in February. He is a HUMONGOUS Star Wars fan and probably knows how this ship was built…. Not that he is a nerd or anything, because he could probably draw it, he’s artistic like that. I think he’s cool.
    Thanks for the info.
