Elf Magic Elves…A New Family Tradition
We love Christmas in our home and each year, we carry out family traditions. Traditions include decorating Gingerbread Houses, hosting Cookie Exchanges, opening PJs for Christmas Eve, leaving cookies for Santa, and now….the newest is Elf Magic. My boys were so excited when the Magic Elves arrived. Santa sent us a blonde Elf, a dark-haired Elf, and a red-haired Elf. The red-haired Elves (cousins of Leprechauns, naturally) are joining their Elf friends this year for the first time.
It’s been an especially productive year at the North Pole. In addition to making presents for all of the good boys and girls around the world, Santa and his team of Elf Magic Elves have been busy making new Elf outfits (also known as Elfits) and suitcases to during the Elves’ annual visits to children’s homes.
The annual Elf Magic Tradition begins when a child writes a letter to Santa requesting that their Elf come for a visit. Then, one day between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, their good friend magically arrives. From the time the Elf arrives until Christmas Eve (Santa picks up each Elf to help him deliver presents), the Elves truly become part of the family. They tag along on family excursions, go to school, help with chores, and will occasionally embark on silly adventures, known as Elfcapades, at nighttime. When children awake in the morning, they’re often excited and mystified to see what their magical Elf has been up to!
The goal of a visiting Elf Magic Elf is to spread joy, love, and kindness and also to ignite the Christmas spirit and reinforce the true meaning of Christmas. Children form a strong bond with their magical friend, and look forward to their Elf’s return each year. Elves have even been known to pop into homes at times throughout the year to help celebrate milestones like a child’s birthday, first day of school or help with an Easter egg hunt!
Our elves found their way into the kitchen to bake some yummy cookies, as well as talk amongst themselves about places they’ve visited around the world while delivering Christmas toys. They also watched movies with the family and helped decorate the Christmas tree.
MY THOUGHTS
Our Elves were pampered with Full of Spice Nightshirts, including slippers, and a SnowCase. The boys loved changing their outfits and putting them to sleep in their case. They also loved that they each had their own Elf friend. The boys loved it when I read to them (and the Elves) the story, Elf Magic, The Story of a Timeless Christmas Tradition. It’s a fun and colorful book and one we’ll read over and over again during the holiday season! A big thanks goes to Elf Magic for this special Christmas tradition we’ve now added to our family.
Santa sent me samples from Elf Magic to facilitate this review. All opinions expressed in this post are 100% mine.
The boys look so cute with their elves. I love all the stories I have been reading aroung the blogasphere about children and their Magic Elves. My grandson has one and loves taking it everywhere this time of year also.
Thanks for sharing your holiday adventures with us… have a truly blessed Christmas.
