I made this SpongeBob SquarePants Character Cake for Brian’s 7th Birthday Party with his friends from soccer and school.  The boys LOVED it!  I have to admit, I was pretty impressed myself.  Thanks to Wilton for the character pan!

The cake I made and decorated for Brian on his actual Birthday!  Not too bad if I don’t say so myself! 🙂

Very nice! My 2 year old loves sponge bob (i know bad mommy!) but it’s better than my four year old who knows the Family Guy song.

Spongebob himself, if he were real, couldn’t have loved them more. You did an absolutely, truly, wonderful job.

Awesome job in making the cake! I bet your son was thrilled! I don’t even dare try to do one like that. I just focus on making the cake taste good rather than look good because I don’t have a chance, lol! I think I need decorating lessons! 🙂

  6. Deborah says:

Oh they are both so cute! I bet he really loved them.

Wow, that Spongebob cake is amazing! Even with the character pan from Wilton, it’s still very hard to get the frosting the right color and just do enough to get the facial expression. Great job. Your son must have loved it!

This looks awesome! Decorating is so time consuming. I made myself a Cookie Monster cake for DD’s bday as a dry run for her own party!
