“Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack Giveaway
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is another favorite movie of mine! I watched it for the first time with my stepmom…who introduced us to most of the musicals I now love. After watching the movie, I find myself walking around the house, singing “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.” Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was released on Blu-ray for the first time on November 2nd by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. The Combo Pack can be purchased in stores and online, retailing for $34.99.
SYNOPSIS:
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls – start your engines. You’re about to take an incredible ride with one of the most wonderful family films of all time! Dick Van Dyke stars as eccentric inventor Caractacus Potts, who creates an extraordinary car called Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I know I saw this movie as a kid, but I hardly remember it! I’d love to introduce it to my kids though – they like Mary Poppins so they’d probably like this too!

I remember watching it with Mom, and she gave me a whistle hard candy after. I don’t remember what the brand was, but it looked just like the Toot Sweets! I went around singing and whistling until the sugar disolved the treat (probably to Mom’s relief!)
I barely remember watching this as a kid and singing along. Would love to view it with my family though.

no special memories of watching or singing along to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!
I actually saw this first as an adult watching with my grandkids and as an adult I found it extremely kid-friendly and I myself enjoyed it immensely. It was a fun film with alot of original ideas and carried out in a light and happy manner. Thanks for a great giveaway.

Our neighborhood park used to have family movie nights when I was little. We would grab a blanket and some snacks and head to the park once a month for a movie. That was the first time I saw Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
I’d don’t think I’ve seen the movie but I would love to watch them with my kids.

We frequently try to remember all the words to “Chitty Chitty Bang-Bang” while on road trips–great fun.
The chitty chitty bang bang song is so catchy.
I haven’t seen Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in many years, but as a child it was definitely a favorite. I remember the Child Catcher was very scary. I can still sing the entire theme song. My grandfather had a couple die-cast replicas of the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car that I used to play with. The wings folded out of the sides and I would pretend to fly it all around the house. Thank you for the great give-away.

I recall the aspect of this movie with the cartoon!
I haven’t seen this movie in a really long time, I just barely remember watching it with my sister when I was very young.
I saw this movie with my young children at the time, but I never sing along—I have an awful voice.
LOL…when my daughter was little, she had trouble pronouncing her CH’s… they came out as SH’s. Chitty, Chitty Bang Bang never sounded the same after that.
I just remember watching this as a child and thinking it was great.
I have never seen Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! but my sister has and she loves it. I’d love win this for her. Thanks for the chance.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was right there alongside The Wizard of Oz in our family – we watched both every year when they came on tv. And we would actually all gather and watch together, there were very few things that we watched together and these two movies were two of them.
I used to watch this as a young girl and sing along to all the songs, just dancing around the living room.
I remember watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for the first time when I was really little and it was right after my parents had drilled into us that you never take candy from strangers or talk to strangers…so when the kids did that, I just couldn’t get over it and kept telling my Mom that they shouldn’t have done that

When I was little, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was one of those special movies that I always watched every year. My husband bought the DVD a couple of years ago, and we have both enjoyed watching and singing along. Dick Van Dyke thinks he’s not a dancer, but I would argue that point, because he’s terrific, especially in the “Old Bamboo” song at the fair. If I win, we’ll send this up to my in-laws, because they’d really enjoy it, too.
I remember my elementary school played it and we all sang along to it.
This is one of the few movies I remember my mom loving to watch when I was little.

Thanks for the giveaway…my sister loved the soundtrack, and played it just to annoy me when I was a kid; I promptly started substituting obscene lyrics and sang along !
