“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” DVD Review
I was excited to have the opportunity to review a copy of A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving! Warner Home Video released A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving on DVD and Blu-ray on September 7th, 2010. My boys love watching the Charlie Brown shows, especially the episodes featuring the different holidays. Since Thanksgiving is a family favorite in our home, they really enjoyed this one! You can purchase A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving in a Blu-ray Combo pack in stores and online, retailing for $24.98.
Turkey, cranberries, pumpkin pie … and the Peanuts gang to share them with. This is going to be the greatest Thanksgiving ever! The fun begins when Peppermint Patty invites herself and her pals to Charlie Brown’s house for a REALLY big turkey party. Good grief! All our hero can cook is cold cereal and maybe toast. Is Charlie Brown doomed? Not when Linus, Snoopy and Woodstock chip in to save the (Thanksgiving) Day. With such good friends, Charlie Brown – and all of us – have so many reasons to be thankful. This classic tale is guaranteed to bring on that grateful glow, especially in delicious hi-def.
– “Another Story Featuring the Gang: The Mayflower Voyagers” – In this episode from the This Is America, Charlie Brown Series, the Peanuts kids become pilgrims sailing to the New World aboard the Mayflower and enduring the first hard winter on Plymouth Plantation.
– Featurette – Popcorn & Jellybeans: Making a Thanksgiving Classic
My boys and I enjoyed watching A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving together. It brought back a lot of good memories from my childhood and I was excited to share a beloved classic with my boys. You definitely want to add this to your collection, just in time for the Thanksgiving holidays!
