“Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Road Rally” DVD Review

On September 7th, 2010, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment released an all-new, full-length adventure called Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Road Rally on DVD!  The DVD was released the same day as it made its debut on TV on the Disney Channel.  The DVD features two new exciting bonus features – Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Pluto Lends a Paw (a never-before-seen bonus episode) and Discovery Mode Interactive Play Feature (a new interactive bonus feature that engages kids to watch and play alongside their favorite Disney characters). You can purchase Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Road Rally on DVD online and in stores, retailing for $26.99.

SYNOPSIS

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Road Rally takes preschoolers and their parents for a dazzling voyage through sandy deserts, snow-covered mountains and lush tropical jungles when the Clubhouse gang (Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Minnie, Chip and Dale, Daisy, etc.) set out to participate in the first annual Road Rally.  The goal of the rally is to follow a prescribed route comprised of four stops, and seek the specially hidden “Mickey Markers” along the course.  Once all the clues are uncovered and all the “Mickey Markers” are found, they finally make a mad dash back to the Clubhouse in a race to the finish.

With pit stops, break downs and mess-ups along the way, the Road Rally is not an easy ride.  Mickey and his pals encounter all sorts of obstacles, including a mountain of rubber duckies, a sand covered road, and a broken down bridge.  No matter what the hold up or who gets to the finish line first, the gang’s first priority is to find time to help each other and enjoy the spirit of competition.
