My good news is that I made my very first Character Cake today! It was with the Wilton Buzz Lightyear Character Pan from Toy Story 3 (review and giveaway to come)!!!

School started!
Two high school kids, one 3rd grader and a first year pre-schooler..
Oh… and my newest college kid! So excited for her… what a great adventure!
Yesterday was my 42nd birthday! :o) My daughter brought me breakfast in bed; DH bought me a yummy chocolate cake; DH & kids cleaned out the garage; and DH grilled steak and pork chops for dinner. And, after battling a headache since last Thursday, I wokeup headache-FREE today. Yay!
My good news is that my Etsy shop just hit 10 sales! A small milestone, but I’ve got to start somewhere! 😀 I’m also happy to report that I was able to get some things organized in my room while Baby Chomp napped and I’m making a dent in organizing all the pictures on my computer! *:D*
PS… Thanks for always posting this and the Thankful Thursdays. I like taking the time to look at the brighter side of things!
We just got back from a wonderful family reunion. We had a fabulous time, and my sister even surprised everyone by showing up unexpectedly. She lives quite a distance away so none of us thought she’d be able to make it. There were lots of smiles and happy tears when she walked into the room!
I used to make special birthday cakes for my boys when they were young. I remember a puppy, a dinosaur, a caterpillar, and many others. They’re fun to do, aren’t they? But time-consuming!!!
