Wisk – Then & Now Stain Spectrum Technology
Over the years, clothing and stains have evolved…and so must the stain fighting technology used to get clothes looking bright and clean! Wisk is introducing their new, enhaned Stain Spectrum Technology, which brings science to stain-figthting, helping you tackle all kinds stains – ranging from oils to proteins. When my sisters and I were little, we’d spill food on us or get grass stains on our clothes and I remember my mom spraying stain remover, scrubbing, spraying more stain remover, letting it sit, and then putting it in the washer. It looked like a lot of work. Now, as a mom of 3 “active” boys, I am constantly battling stains….from grass stains to spaghetti sauce stains and more! I find that I spray the stains, let them sit, spray again, and then put them in the washer…a little less tedious than what my mom used to do, but still work. So I am really excited to try the new Wisk laundry detergent, with it’s new powerful formula in a red-hot bottle!
As the first liquid laundry detergent to market in 1956, Wisk has been cleaning America’s laundry for the past 50 years. Now, they’ve upgraded their formula, but not the price, to tackle stains. Wisk is bringing science to stain fighting with an upgraded formula featuring Stain Specturm Technology. Wisk’s enzymes and cleaning agents target the full range of stains on a molecular level for a powerful clean. This powerful new stain fighting formula and a new way to talk about stains in a reinvention is likely to be as iconic as the brand’s legendary “ring around the collar” campaign.
New Wisk with Stain Spectrum Technology is engineered to target the major stain groups (new stain vocabulary).
There are hundreds of different stains but most stains fall into three major groups:
– Carbohydrates such as milk chocolate
– Proteins such as grass
– Oils such as peanut butter
The other groups of stains include:
* Bio such as blood
* Bleachable such as coffee
* Particulate such as dirt
* Synthetic such as ink
With this new powerful stain fighting formula, it doesn’t matter which of these stains you encounter, because the Wisk with Stain Spectrum ™Technology is the solution to tackle them all
Wisk is available in August at major retailers nationwide, such as Walmart, Target and Kroger (Suggested Retail Price: $5.99 for 50 fl oz. bottles that cleans 32 loads).

There are some really great bloggers on this campaign, I’m looking forward to what everyone has to say about it!
I’d like to see what people have to say about the new Wisk also, I usually use a powder laundry detergent as I think it works better with our water here in FL. It would be great to find something that works on Bill’s stains (OK, I have a few, too) without having to spray and scrub.
Thanks for the old Wisk commercial, sure brought back memories. 🙂
Cool info! I’m excited to try out this product, also. With the combination of a new HE washer and something that’s this well-thought out, I’m hoping it will make getting stains out of my kids’ clothes much more hassle-free! Can’t wait 🙂
