Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday! Thanks to Kailani at An Island Life, I participate in Aloha Friday each Friday!

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

My question is:

What is one of your most embarassing moments?

In junior high, my parents signed me up for a class at a modeling school…ya know, to help boost my self-esteem.  We learned how to do our hair, apply makeup, take care of our nails, and also how to walk with confidence.  We were taught how to walk up and down a runway….back straight, shoulders back, head up, and smiling.  Well I kept looking down at my feet to make sure I did trip and fall.  The instructor told us we COULD NOT look at our feet.  So I walked, swaying my little hips from side to side (lol), chin up, back straight with my shoulders back, and BAM!!!!  I walked right off the silly stage and fell in between the wall and the stage.  Dangit!  We all laughed about it, but boy was it embarassing!

Oh man!! That is embarrassing. I think probably for me it was having a pen mark on my face all day and no one mentioned it. I went home washed my make off, but before that happened I looked in the mirror and was horrified no one had told me.

Walking into an all glass door. Bam!

  6. Oh, you poor thing.
I did the same thing Deborah did, but I did it at a full run in the rain at a Carvel. I was 14 and there was a gorgeous 16 year old boy working behind the counter. My mom was with me and of course she tried making a huge fuss over me and I tried to play it cool like it was nothing, but it hurt like hell, I thought I was going to throw up and pass out. I ended up with a HUGE goose egg and nasty bruise.
    I wanted to die!! 🙁

One of my most embarrassing moments was in high school. After practice one day when I got home I noticed my regular bra was missing. The next day at school when the bell rang to change classes, we all walked out into the hallway and someone had stapled my bra to the ceiling going into the next hallway where signs are usually hung! I was completely embarrassed but also mad because it was my favorite bra and there was no way I was going to admit it was mine!!!
