Ketchup is a staple in our home that we always have on hand.  My boys LOVE ketchup for everything….whether it’s french fries, chicken dinosaurs, meat, you name it!   Thanks to Mom Central, we had the opportunity to try out Hunt’s No High Fructose Corn Syrup Ketchup.

This summer, Hunt’s wants to give us Moms a high five by celebrating the fact that Hunt’s ketchup now features five simple ingredients.  Hunt’s new recipe includes no high fructose corn syrup and no artificial ingredients or preservatives.  To celebrate the new recipe, Moms have a chance to win a family vacation (up to $5,000) through a new photo contest.  To enter, go to facebook.com/hunts, submit a photo of you and your family achieving a “simple victory” and you could win that summer vacation you’ve been longing for.

I don’t know about you, but I feel so much better giving my boys ketchup that is just ketchup.  Thank you Hunt’s for an amazing new product!  We’ll be eating a lot of it.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Hunt’s and received a ketchup sample to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central also sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.

I grabbed this last month. It was at the checkout and actually cheaper than the regular bottle of Hunt’s I had in my cart. Made me giddy :).

Homemade ketchup would be the most healthy and most natural, but this one from Hunts sounds like a really close second! Good to know, as I’ve been slowly trying to make our diet as natural and healthy as possible without having a household revolt. 😛 I’ll have to try it, thanks for the review!

I’ve been hearing how bad high-fructose corn syrup is for our health. I am glad that Hunt’s has been listening too. If your boys liked it, that is a very good sign because kids are the pickiest eaters. I am a picky eater as well which makes cooking hard but I will have to try Hunt’s. Thanks!

  8. Carrie says:

My boys eat a lot of catsup. We should switch to Hunt’s. Thanks for the information!
