Benihana Father’s Day Giveaway
Father’s Day is tomorrow and many families take the dads in their lives out to eat on this special day! If you’re looking for somewhere special to take dad, consider Benihana for a night of food and fun. Through June 21st, Benihana is offering a special “Be the Chef Package,” where dad is the center of attention. The “Be the Chef Package” includes a training session with a Benihana Chef where dads learn how to cook teppanyaki style on the hibachi grills; a full Benihana teppanyaki performance by dad; dinner for dad and three guests; an Official Certificate of Completion certifying dad as a Teppanyaki Master; and a complimentary souvenir photo of dad that he can download and share with friends and family.
Dinner in the Benihana Chef Package includes Benihana’s “Splash ‘n Meadow,” which features hibachi steak and shrimp, vegetable fried rice, onion soup, salad, hibachi vegetables, homemade dipping sauces, steamed rice, Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream, and Japanese hot green tea. The cost for four people in the “Be the Chef Package” is $140. Additional guests can be added for only $35 per person. Benihana is also offering a special price of $250 for eight guests.

My 4-year-old is convinced that if I got breakfast in bed for Mother’s Day, Dad should get breakfast in bed too. So in a few minutes we’re headed into the kitchen to make pancakes for him.
We’re also having his favorite meal and cherry pie for dessert tonight, and the boys made him cards and got him a gift.

We sent our dad Blackhawks gear. He has always been his home city’s sports fan, no matter which sport, and we tend to get him Chicago items, though I don’t think we’ve sent him BH stuff. What better reason to start sending BH items than them winning the Stanley Cup?

I woke up early…made my hunny eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and home made cinnamon rolls for breakfast…and went out and got him the sunday paper…to make breakfast even more special I made mimosas! We went to the park to play some soccer with our son… Then went over and celebrated with his dad over a BBQ our by the pool! It was a great day to celebrate him and his dad and enjoy summer!

For Father’s Day, I gave him the best gift ever – SLEEP! I made sure that the kids did not wake him up till much later in the day. My husband works NOCs, so he enjoyed the much needed sleep. Then later in the day we had a nice dinner and the kids gave daddy a gift and got their much needed Daddy Time in.

We gave my Dad some BBQ Sauce we knew he would love, some homemade dark chocolate, and a “Grandpa” hat from our son. We had dinner with my family and just enjoyed being with our Dad!

We had a great Father’s Day! We went to North Carolina and spent the day with my husband’s Dad.
We grilled burgers and made homemade ice cream at his lake house. A great time was had by all!

I took boxes of old photos and put them on a digital frame–now he can see his friends, siblings, parents, kids, and grandchildren every day!
