“Life” DVD Giveaway
On June 1st, BBC Warner released an amazing DVD set called “Life
SYNOPSIS
Four years in the making, filmed over 3000 days, across every continent and in every habitat, “Life” is the latest wildlife blockbuster from the BBC’s award-winning Natural History Unit, the producers of “Planet Earth” and “The Blue Planet.” Narrated by Oprah Winfrey, the series presents 130 incredible stories from the frontiers of the natural world, and details the extraordinary tactics that plants and animals have developed to stay alive, overcome challenges, and push the boundaries of behaviour.
The series is available in a 4 disc set and includes the following added features:
– Life on Location – Ten 10-minute production video diaries showing the exhaustive efforts of the filmmaking team
– Deleted scenes – scenes removed from US broadcast
– “Music Only” viewing option
– French, Spanish, and English subtitles
The DVD is available in stores throughout the US and online and retails for $59.98.

I think it’s hard to choose a favorite animal, because so many of them are amazing to me. I will say my favorite is the Tiger. When I see a tiger at the zoo, I’m just in awe. They are so big and powerful, but beautiful! I think dogs make great pets though, and horses are beautiful too. When I was a kid, I loved turtles. 🙂

Lions are my favorite animal especially the males.
I’m a zoo docent so I have a lot favorite animals. Right now my best favorite is probably our emperor tamarins. They are little tiny monkeys with a big white mustache. One of ours recently gave birth to twins. The dad carries them around on his back so you see these teeny round heads peeking over his shoulders. How could they not be favorites. As you can imagine they are very popular with the zoo visitors.

Mine would be a wolf.
It is so hard to choose my favorite as I just love so many. Whales are actually my favorite because they are so graceful and mysterious, but I know they are mammals. I love possumns! I have been fortunate to rehabilitate 3 baby possumns who were injured! There is nothing as loving and adoreable as a baby or even juvenile possumn! I used to think they were So ugly and awful before I raised my first baby! We are so ignorant untill we obtain the knowledge! They are also North America’s ONLY Marsupial!
