Poem: Sleeping Brothers
They’re two brothers sleeping quietly in bed,
one with visions of off roading and the other Jedi space flying in his energetic head.
Though they are brothers they have similiarties and differences even when they sleep,
one dreams of all things outer space and the other vehicles like Hummers and Jeeps.
One likes to sleep covered up snug and tight,
the other kicks them off like he’s in a Ninja fight.
One likes his head almost off the pillow to lay,
the other holds his pillow, so on it his head will always stay.
They may start off the night facing each other,
but they won’t stay that way, they turn and churn, like a vat of slippery buttery.
It’s a wonder they get any rest in their wiggling sleep,
but right now they look like God’s precious little sheperded sheep, without a baah or a peep.
Your boys must have had a fun busy day – they are crashed out! So cute!
They’re not sleeping… they’re recharging! 🙂
