The Bachelorette, American Idol, and Dancing with the Stars
“The Bachelorette”
OK, I admit to a few thousand people here on my blog that I watched “The Bachelorette” and LOVED it! The last Bachelor/Bachelorette season I watched was with Jason from Seattle and I was so disgusted with the ending, I didn’t think I would ever watch either again. I’d never seen “The Bachelorette,” but what girl wouldn’t love 25 guys fighting for her attention?!
My favorites were Chris (the teacher), Frank (jumping on top of the limo), and Roberto (Salsa king). I was so disappointed that she gave Chris “the hair guy” a rose. That guy is bad news! Justin “Rated R” is questionable and I just figured out why he looks familiar. He kind of reminds me of Tony from “24” – don’t ya think? I am so glad she got rid of “Shooter.” I mean seriously, he should be an example of things NOT to say about yourself on a first date – lol! Gross!
“American Idol”
I was really routing for Lee for a while, even though I KNEW that Crystal was amazing! However, tonight, the winner was clear in my mind. I think Mama Sox is going to win. I loved Ellen’s comment – if you make an album, I’ll buy it; if you go on tour, I’ll be there; if you make a salad, I’ll eat it. LOL I’m also so sad that Simon is leaving. He adds so much character to the show and has created a standard to which the singers strive to meet. We’ll miss you Simon! Please come back soon!
“Dancing with the Stars”
Tonight was the Season Finale of “Dancing with the Stars” and I was so happy with the results. Nicole and Derek worked so hard to earn the trophy and they definitely did a job well done. It was still painful to watch Kate Gosselin attempt to dance, but I think she really tried hard tonight. I’m actually looking forward to watching “So You Think You Can Dance.” I’ve never seen it before, but am excited to see what it’s all about.
What are your favorite shows or what were your favorite parts of these shows?
I never watched The Bachelorette before either. I did watch this one. I can’t stand the weather man or the funky hair dude.
I am liking Roberto, unsure about the wrestler, but he’s cute..and am still trying figure out who is who
American Idol Fan! Lee is our Favorite but will see what happens tonight….I don’t know how it will be without Simon next time he was the SHOW!! But Ellen is pretty FUNNY too 🙂 Good Luck LEE~
If you enjoy watching talented young people dancing all sorts of styles different from what they usually perform, you will love SYTYCD. I never miss it. I am 60 and wish I could move half as well as they do.
I can honestly say I don’t watch the Bachelor or the Bachelorette, and I stopped watching American Idol awhile ago, but I totally agree with you on Dancing with the Stars!!
I’m so glad those two won-They definitely deserved it.
Everyone on that show worked really hard though!
