I love to watch “The View” and had a real hard time with one of the guests this past week. It was the show where Nadya Sulaman (aka OctoMom) was interviewed. I’m sure that most people who watched this had some thoughts about it (whether positive or negative). I personally had never seen her in an interview before and was not that impressed with her at all. I know she was nervous, so I’ll blame the constant loud laugh on that, but I had a hard time following what questions she was answering. It honestly kind of reminded me of Tom Cruise’s appearance on Oprah – I’m sure you know what I’m talking about (if not, couch jumping is a clue)!

I don’t think that Whoopi, Barbara, or Joy were very impressed either. Plus, I know I’m sleep-deprived, but how much longer can she go on (and be healthy) with only 2 or 4 hours of sleep every night and take care of 14 children? I mean it’s great that she can fit in a bikini and all, but you need your sleep girl!

I am a participant in a Mom Central campaign for ABC Daytime and will receive a tote bag or other The View branded items to facilitate my review.

WOW she is kind of crazy I think. She lives by my mom and shops at the Target over there. I had a hard time watching the show that day. And how about the outfit?? What was that? No plastic surgery… when they showed her pic pregnant and then on the cover of People, I’m sorry but those stretch marks don’t just go away like magic. Sleeps 2 hours a night and did you hear? She’s writing a book, wonder if she could have said that any more LOL Thanks for the heads up on The View for her it was very interesting for sure.

  2. I watched her on there and all I can say is WOW.. Somethings off big time , honestly being nervous is very understandable but I thought she was on some sort of something. I could be wrong but whether its an upper, weight loss supplement or what, I think Nadia needs to take a deep breathe , take a nap and relax. She was too manic for me I can imagine being all over like that has to be scary for a child
and I pray that her thoughts for 1 more after hers are grown up goes away. Babies are for Nadia as Lats Chips are for me ” No one can have just 1 ” LOL…

I’m super excited b/c I love your blog & watch The View daily so it’s great to have you as their Ambassador 🙂

Wow her laugh was extremely annoying. Did that really count as an interview they were barely able to ask her any questions? It was just way to all over the place.

I had it on in the background that day and had to mute the channel. I felt like I would lose brain cells if I watched it. It was bad..real bad and she should be getting used to the limelight by now. Haha Tom on Oprah! That was priceless

I personally cannot stand the view but this woman is so annoying!!! It’s nice to hear she is finished having children though. Shannon I have some awards for you! http://www.kiddiescornerdeals.com/2010/02/thank-youawards-make-me-smile.html

I watched a clip online and I couldn’t even finish it. She drove me nuts, laugh and all!! I am pretty sure Elisabeth was totally annoyed.

  7. Aline says:

Interesting post on Octomom. She does seem a bit off base. I guess I would be too with all those kids!
She certainly needs to do all sorts of things to earn $ to raise those kids including wacky guest appearances.

  8. Lisa Davis says:

Wow, she really was acting like a 12 year old, I wonder if she had a little too much to drink before hand maybe, to calm the nerves, and then it backfired lol She’s can’t be like this all the time, can she? Can you imagine?? Frightening.

  9. That woman… just disgusts me to the very core.

  10. Badger Mom says:

As much as I shudder to say this, I think I’m going to have to watch this episode now to see what all the hubbub is about. I just know though that I’m going to be jaded before I even watch.

  11. Badger Mom says:

Okay, I watched it. Well she doesn’t SOUND like a complete idiot. Although she certainly does sound crazy. She used to work in a psych department? She belongs IN one.

I’m sorry I wouldn’t be able to stay in the same room with this woman for 5 minutes. Her type would make me nervous just with her hyper active personality.
