“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” DVD Review
I LOVE watching Charlie Brown and my kids enjoy watching him as well! I was excited to receive a copy of the new release, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” on DVD from Warner Home Video. The DVD will be released this Tuesday, January 26th and will retail for $19.98. This is definitely one for the Classic Charlie Brown Collection in your home. I love the different songs the different members of the Peanuts Gang sing and the overall adorable and funny experiences in the show!
Charlie Brown is not what you would call athletic. He has never pitched a winning baseball game nor been able to keep a kite in the air nor win a game of checkers. He’s also never successfully punted a football. Even though he’s not athletic, his pals still love him and show their appreciation as they pay tribute to “good ol’ Chuck” in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” You’ll fall in love with Charlie Brown all over again as you watch Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Sally, Snoopy, and the rest of the gang in this adorable show. The DVD includes “Happiness,” “The Kite,” “Suppertime,” “T-E-A-M,” “Book Report,” and much more.
“Viewers of all ages will be hooked on the uplifting and heart-touching songs featured on this wonderful DVD. They’ll want to hear them over and over,” said Amit Desai, WHV Vice President of Family, Animation & Partner Brands Marketing. He added, “Aside from the remarkable soundtrack, this special presents fans with a variety of entertaining and endearing vignettes. It also imparts several valuable messages, including the importance of self-acceptance and building friendships. This is a must-have DVD for anyone who loves Peanuts.”
DVD Special Features Include:
³ Animating a Charlie Brown Musical – This documentary featurette explores the twenty-year journey of the 1967 Clark Gesner album that became a Broadway hit and finally an animated TV special.
