I have been so happy to see that more companies are holding blogging events in our beautiful city of Seattle!  If you haven’t been to Seattle, you should make a resolution to visit at least once in your lifetime.  Once you visit, you’ll want to come back for more – trust me!!!

In November, I was invited to attend an event with RedPlum.  When I received the invitation in my email inbox, I thought to myself, “What is RedPlum?”  Then I saw the heading on the invitation – “Frugalicious Party.”  Hmmm…that sounds like that would be right up my alley.  Plus, I knew of some other Seattle bloggers that would be there, so that’s always a great reason to go and hang out.

At the RedPlum Event, “My Frugalicious Holiday,” there were a few cute gifts for under $30.  RedPlum was featuring 30 Great Gifts Under $30.  I could get into that.  They had some gifts out on the tables for us to browse.  After some informal conversation with a few of the PR Reps, we had a few hours to mingle and enjoy yummy appetizers.  And of course, what is a blogging event without handing out your business cards?  Stacey was very excited to receive mine – lol!

They had the BEST Asparagus Appetizers I have ever had.  I couldn’t stop eating them.  There were also yummy Slider Burgers (mini sized burgers) and other hors d oeuvres!  Plus, an unlimited number of refills on Coca Cola, since I don’t drink alcohol.  It was a great girls night out on the town!

Had it been at a different location that wasn’t quite as loud, I would have loved to learn more about the company itself.  It was fairly dark in the restaurant as well, so there weren’t very many pictures that turned out.  Overall, it was a lot of fun though!

After the event, I recognized the RedPlum logo on my weekly coupons that came in the mail.  I had never known the company behind the coupons was RedPlum.  You can also visit their website for updated coupons and deals!

I did not receive compensation for this post.  I did receive appetizers, soda, and a swag bag when I left the event.  All opinions expressed in this post are 100% mine!
