Safeway for the Holidays
Safeway is one of the stores my family and I frequent when it comes to grocery shopping. I love the Deli Department especially. I even know the people behind the counter, which makes my shopping experience that much greater! The deli meat and cheese is tasty and affordable and I purchase it at least twice a month for sandwiches made for my husband and kids.
I recently purchased an Entertainment Book through my son’s school and found 4 coupons good for $5.00 off a $50.00 purchase. I will be using my first one next week – woo hoo! You can find all kinds of products at Safeway – from produce to deli to meats to frozen foods to canned goods and so on!
The customer service I receive at Safeway is great as well. Each time I take my kids with me, we stop by the Bakery to pick up a free cookie for them. Plus, I am usually offered help out to my car at checkout (which I frequently use). Plus, I get a discounted fuel rate based on my total dollar purchase using my Safeway Rewards Card.

Unfortunately I don’t have a Safeway in our area.. Kroger, Wal mart, Meijer and Target that’s it…
Unfortunately, I think all of the Safeways in our area closed up shop along with a good majority of the Albertsons. 🙁
This review makes me miss my home state California! I live in VA now and there is no Safeway that I am aware of! I remember shopping at this store ALL the time. Home sick indeed. Thanks for the good memories and the review.

We have a Safeway and their meat department is fantastic! It is also one of the last grocery stores that actually will carry the groceries out and put them in your car. Really nice folks!
