I was notified today by one of my followers that someone has hacked into my Twitter account and is sending direct messages saying I made $500 or something like that in a day.

THESE ARE NOT FROM ME!!!!  Don’t click on the link.  Delete them.  Please know that I would not send anything like that to people!

If someone has hacked into your Twitter account, open up a separate web window.  Go to Twitter’s main page and log in.  Proceed to your account settings and change your password ASAP.

Hope this helps 🙂

I got one of these from your account too and it just seemed out of character for you to send something like that as a DM so I’m glad I didn’t open it. Just in case, I’m changing my password too.

  14. I don’t have a Twitter account, but I figured it was only a matter of time that somebody figured out how to do this on Twitter. There are just some really rotten people out there. Can’t we just all be nice to each other?
