Aloha Friday new

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday! Thanks to Kailani at An Island Life, I participate in Aloha Friday each Friday!

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

My question is:

What is your favorite Steve Martin movie?

I love Steve Martin.  I almost always finding myself laughing when I watch his movies!  My favorite movie is “Father of the Bride” (1 and 2 – lol).  I also love him in “A Simple Twist of Fate” and “The Jerk.”

Wow, my sister and I were just discussing the movie The Jerk the other day when she quoted a scene from the movie after we were discussing my daughter’s extreme attachment to her “Purple Blanky”.

“And that’s it and that’s the only thing I need, is this. I don’t need this or this. Just this ashtray. And this paddle game, the ashtray and the paddle game and that’s all I need. And this remote control. The ashtray, the paddle game, and the remote control, and that’s all I need….”
