With the economy the way it is, more and more families and individuals are taking “state-cations.” What is a state-cation? It’s where you take a vacation within driving distance of where you live – playing tourist in your home town or surrounding areas. I know there is one in Seattle. My parents recently came to visit us and stayed in Holiday Inn. They loved it. Not only were the rooms comfortable and inviting, but they also loved the breakfasts they served there. They will be returning to Holiday Inn the next time they visit Washington!
