Heat Wave Hits Seattle!

Did I mention that it was SO HOT here today?! Somebody told me it was over 100 degrees at one point today! Now, you need to know that there is a very small percentage of the Seattle population that actually own air conditioners. We do not fall in that small percentage. We own a fan!

We own 1 fan and let me tell you…it is a blessing! I went today to purchase another one and had no luck finding anything. I went to Target first, but they were all sold out. Then I went to Costco and they were also sold out. I talked to a friend of mine and she said that even Home Depot was sold out!

While running errands, I also made a stop to Blockbuster. As soon as I walked through the door, I felt my body temperature drop and my face instantly cooled. Yes…they had the air conditioner on. I almost didn’t want to leave but had other things to get done in the small amount of time I had!

I know this heat wave won’t last long, but I’m ready for it to be over!!
