Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to watch Revolutionary Road. Overall it was a truly sad movie and was pretty hard to watch the constant fighting in the movie. However, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet did do an awesome job acting in this movie!

Revolutionary Road was released on DVD and Blu-ray on June 2nd, 2009 by Paramount Home Entertainment. Revolutionary Road was based on the bestseller by Richard Yates and directed by Academy Award winner Sam Mendes. This movie follows the lives of a young couple who are living in the suburbs of Connecticut and decide to set everything aside so they can pursue their dreams. They are willing to break out of the “ordinary pattern” – but can they do it without breaking apart? You’ll find out when you watch Revolutionary Road.

The REVOLUTIONARY ROAD DVD and Blu-ray presentations include commentary by director Sam Mendes and screenwriter Justin Haythe, Lives of Quiet Desperation: The Making of REVOLUTIONARY ROAD and deleted scenes. The Blu-ray also includes Richard Yates: The Wages of Truth.

The REVOLUTIONARY ROAD DVD is presented in widescreen enhanced for 16:9 TVs with Dolby Digital English 5.1 Surround, French 5.1 Surround and Spanish 5.1 Surround and English, French and Spanish subtitles. The Blu-ray disc is presented in 1080p high definition with English 5.1 Dolby TrueHD, French 5.1 Dolby Digital and Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital and English, English SDH, French, Spanish and Portuguese subtitles.
