Tell the Truth Tuesday is a meme I’ve started on The Mommy-Files. As parents, we like to portray our lives as being as controlled and perfect as possible. The reality is that none of us have perfect lives! We are all dealing with different challenges in life.

Tell the Truth Tuesday is a fun way to hear the “truth” from other parents out there like us.

Today’s question is

You see a homeless person on the street corner near McDonalds with a sign asking for money or food. What do you do?
a) Give him some loose change b) Give him a $10 bill c) Buy him an Extra Value Meal d) Give him your leftover food e) Ignore him all together

I would choose (c), especially if my husband were with me. I have to be honest…when I have my 3 kids with me, I don’t usually approach homeless people. It’s just a protection thing over my family. However, if I were with my husband, we’d buy him or her an Extra Value Meal and give it to him/her before we left the parking lot.
