Spa Tweet Up in Seattle (My First Bloggers Event)!

I had the awesome opportunity to be invited by Susan at 5 Minutes for Mom to attend a Spa Tweet Up in Seattle. My endless thanks to Pledge for pampering both us and our laptops! We met at Swoon Boutique Spa in Seattle (on Capitol Hill). There, we talked amongst ourselves (learning that there were 2 other bloggers from my neighborhood), sipping on Mint Water, and being pampered from neck to toe!

I started out with a neck and back massage. Oh my gosh – HEAVEN! That was my first massage ever! I knew it was going to be good when I put my face down on the pillow and breathed in the gentle fragrance of lavender. The poor girl who gave the massage had to endure my talking her ear off through the whole thing – lol. Honestly, I was talking so much because I was afraid I would fall asleep into a coma by being so relaxed. The room was complete with relaxing music and candles all over. It was awesome!
Then I proceeded to get a manicure. Unfortunately, we had just watched “24” a few nights before, and whatever I had of nails was now gone. However, they made it work – thank goodness! I chose a red color (since I know how much my husband loves that color and since it’s not a color I own). They trimmed my cuticles, massaged my fingers, painted my nails, and made me feel like a queen 🙂
After my fingernails were somewhat dry, I headed on over to get my pedicure! Woo hoo! I haven’t had a pedicure since high school (ummm…that’s like 12 years!). Yeah – it was great! They started out by soaking my feet in a bubble bath (nice warm water), then proceeded to cleaning off my nail polish. They painted my toenails and gave me these cute little green thongs!
Plus, while we were being pampered, our laptops were receiving their own pampering by the Pledge representatives. They cleaned our keys, screens, and computers with the all new Pledge Multi-Purpose Cleaner. My husband commented on how clean the laptop looked and asked if we’d be cleaning our desktop computer as well – lol – SURE 🙂
I sadly left the Spa but happily with a bag of goodies! I received a reusable tote, 2 cans of Pledge Multi-Surface Cleaner (in 2 different scents), a computer screen cleaning cloth, and a USB drive!

I was so happy to meet other Seattle bloggers and hope we can get together again soon 🙂
