BOOK REVIEW & GIVEAWAY – Caillou Books

Thanks to RAAB Associates, I had the opportunity to review some great Caillou books! Caillou is a wonderful character in his cartoon on PBS on tv. I was excited to receive several books, including: Caillou Boxed Set, Caillou Where is My Teddy?, Caillou My Book of Great Adventures, Caillou My First Vacation, and Caillou ABC Train (puzzle book).

As soon as my boys saw Caillou on the cover, they excitedly looked through the books. They loved the interactive books and actually spent an hour just reading them to themselves and each other!
My boys love the Caillou Boxed Set, which includes (1) Caillou Makes a Snowman, (2) Caillou Sleeps Over, (3) Caillou And Rosie’s Ball, (4) Caillou Plans A Surprise, and Caillou Puts Away His Toys! My kids love reading the books and then putting them back in the box when they are done. The box has Velcro closures on the flap and box to keep the lid closed and the books in place. The box even has a handle so they can carry their books in the case around the house.
Caillou Where is Teddy? is another great book. It’s a board book with a cushiony cover. The pages are durable and sturdy – perfect for any baby or toddler! It’s a colorful book with a great storyline.
Caillou My Book of Great Adventures is another great book! It is a hard back book with a cushiony cover. In the book are 6 great stories, including (1) “The Birthday Party,” (2) “Favorite T-Shirt,” (3) “The Picnic,” (4) “At the Market,” (5) “At the Beach,” and (6) “At the Amusement Park.” This is a great book to read with your kids!
Caillou My First Vacation is a fun lift-the-flap book! It talks about Caillou’s experience in an airplane. Your child can lift the flaps as he or she reads through the book.
Caillou ABC Train was probably their favorite book. It is a board book shaped like a train. In it are miniature puzzles with the ABCs (they go 3 letters at a time). Your child can take the puzzle pieces out, look at the letters and then fit them back into the “ABC Train.”
