Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

My question is:

What is your favorite fruit and do you have any memories associated with it?

I LOVE strawberries. When we lived in California, we’d frequently visit the strawberry stand and then go home to dig into our purchase. We’d eat strawberries with raw sugar, strawberry shortcake, or just the strawberries by themselves. You know I bought some strawberries on my current visit to California. YUMMY!

I love bananas. My memories are just always eating it in my cereal.

I eat Strawberries and blueberries almost every day of the year, but my favorite is actually Mangos – they are just harder to eat – alot of work, so I just don’t have them as often. I did find a very good brand of frozen mango chunks and I use that in my protein smoothies all summer long!

I love oranges. I love the smell of oranges. They just smell so clean and fresh. Can’t think of any memories though.

I'm a peaches gal. I absolutely love fresh peaches that are sweet & juicy. I used to eat homemade peach jam on everything!

I love cherries. As a child I remember having a cherry pit spitting contest with my cousin and father. We sat on the front steps of our house and spit into the grass. Then last summer my family went to visit my brother and his family. While there we went cherry picking. We picked close to 20 pounds of them and had an amazing time. We already have plans to go again this year. It was so much fun and yummy afterward.

    i love apples.

every year my sorority would go to butler’s orchard, pick apples and pumpkins, go on a hayride, build a bonfire and make smores.

it’s one of my favorite college memories
